Ports integration takes effect The integration of the governance and management functions of the ports of Hastings and Melbourne takes effect from 1 September.
The new arrangements will leverage the experience and expertise of Port of Melbourne Corporation in shaping and developing an environmentally and financially sustainable port at Hastings and ensure both ports are developed in a complementary way, to maximise their benefits to the Victorian economy, our transport system and the community.
