On Sunday 28 July, the Port of Melbourne joined sites across the city, offering guided boat tours as part of Open House Melbourne.

We ran 6 of our ever-popular boat tours between 10 am and 4 pm, which saw over 1400 visitors, visiting major port facilities including Victoria, Appleton and Swanson Docks.

The weather was exceptionally good for this time of year, and each of the visitors was able to see the MSC Antonella up close. The MSC Antonella is one of the largest container ships to visit Australia, measuring up to 300 m in length, with a beam of 48 m and a capacity of 8800 containers.
