Port of Melbourne is undertaking three construction projects between September 2020 and March 2021. Each project will involve some pile driving activity. Residents and port tenants may experience noise from the pile driving and related activity.  We will work closely with our contractors to minimise these impacts. Works are scheduled in daytime hours.

We apologise for any inconvenience the works may cause our tenants and the community, however these works are necessary for the port to continue its operations, delivering the goods Victorians need every day, and exporting to the world.

Project 1 – Short Road Wharf

Port of Melbourne is constructing a new maintenance facility at Short Road Wharf. The landside pile driving is scheduled to take place from 10 September to 18 September. Works are scheduled in permitted times between 7.00am and 5:00pm Monday to Friday.
